Back in 1994, she was a happy girl in the fourth grade. She loved to sing and dance and was very confident in herself, very innocent. One day, her teacher told her to try to sing a song for the school play. It was a difficult song. She stood up and tried to sing it, but she didn't perform it well. All the kids laughed at her. Her teacher came over to her, looked in her eyes, and told her, "Sit down! You ain't going to be a singer!" And that's exactly what she did. It took her many years to realize that her teacher voice is not her voice. That voice that says she's not good enough, talented enough. The desire to sing was stronger than the belief in what her teacher thought of her or told her.
